Physiotherapy
Therapeutic Trampolining
At TheraBounce Inc., our physiotherapists offer a specialized approach to therapy through trampoline-based sessions for both children and adults with disabilities. These sessions are designed to promote physical strength, balance, and coordination in a fun and engaging way, making exercise enjoyable while also supporting therapeutic goals. The trampoline serves as an effective tool for improving motor skills, enhancing flexibility, and increasing overall body awareness, all while maintaining a focus on the individual’s unique needs and abilities. Our therapists work one-on-one with clients to tailor each session, ensuring it provides the maximum benefit for physical and developmental progress.
Our physiotherapists provide therapeutic trampolining sessions across all 3 TheraBounce locations!
Parent / Caregiver Physiotherapy
TheraBounce Inc. recognizes the vital role that parents and caregivers play in supporting individuals with disabilities. To equip them with the tools needed to assist in daily care, we offer both in-person and virtual sessions focused on education and practical techniques for moving, handling, and transfers. These sessions aim to prevent injuries that can arise for both parties from improper handling, while also offering strategies for effective rehabilitation after injury. Whether it’s learning how to safely lift, move, or support a loved one, our physiotherapists are dedicated to supporting the whole family by sharing their expertise in safe moving and handling.
Teresa Raso is a Registered Physiotherapist with experience working with children with a wide variety of diagnoses and disabilities, as well as working with adults with a focus on injury rehabilitation and prevention. Please contact us for more information or to book your initial assessment. Available at TheraBounce North York, TheraBounce Markham, and virtually!
Physiotherapy-Led Groups
We also offer group sessions tailored to neurotypical children and children with disabilities, including parent-and-tot classes and preschool motor skills groups. These sessions focus on helping children develop foundational motor skills in a social and interactive environment. The parent-and-tot groups not only promote bonding but also provide opportunities for physical development through play and structured movement. Meanwhile, the preschool motor skills groups are designed to enhance coordination, balance, and motor control, setting the stage for further physical development as children grow. At TheraBounce Inc., we are committed to fostering growth, injury prevention, and rehabilitation for individuals of all ages, as well as supporting the families and caregivers who play such a critical role in their care.
