This course is appropriate for individuals with a background in health care (OT, PT, SLP, RKin, PSW, etc.) and / or gymnastics / trampoline coaches with experience working with individuals with disabilities.

The Rebound Therapy Practitioner course is internationally recognized and certified by ReboundTherapy.org. Successful completion of this course validates candidates to deliver Rebound Therapy sessions to children and adults with disabilities at any suitable venue in Canada.

The course will cover the following:
1) Introduction to Rebound Therapy
2) Contraindications, medical conditions, and risk assessments
3) Benefits of Rebound Therapy
4) Safe practice
5) Measuring and recording progress
6) Outcome measures
7) Trampoline skills and simulations

The course is suitable for: physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, kinesiologists, therapy assistants, students, trampoline/gymnastic coaches, trampoline park staff, support workers, parents, etc. 

There are no prerequisites to the Rebound Therapy course and no previous trampoline experience is needed.

This Rebound Therapy and Therapeutic Trampoline course is delivered virtually with the majority being self-paced. The original Rebound Therapy Practitioner Course was developed by ReboundTherapy.org and successful completion of this course validates candidates to deliver Rebound Therapy sessions. TheraBounce has added to this course to increased the therapeutic scope of the trampoline and increase accessibility to put it into practice for health care professionals. .

The online is comprised of the following components:

1) Study of the reading material
2) Study of the video of practical aspects, including development of program for individuals with learning disabilities and activities for ambulant students
3) Study of the video of how to measure and record progress, and how to provide evidence of outcomes
4) Completion of the theory assessment paper
5) Completion of practical skills demonstrated on a trampoline via Zoom or sent virtually

This course is suitable for health care professionals (PT, OT, SLP, RKin, and/or gymnastics/trampoline coaches with experience with children with disabilities). Those without this background, please email for information about alternative courses.
